THE FIRST TRAINING SESSION – EMBARKING ON THE JOURNEY TO UNDERSTAND YOUR CHILD THROUGH COMMUNICATION & LANGUAGE

As part of the "Understand to Love" project, the first training session for parents officially took place on March 20, 2026. The session was led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuong Van (M.A.) – Deputy Head of Program Department at iSchool & UKA and Project Expert – with the participation of 22 parent
s, accompanying specialists, and the Project Board.
The workshop opened with the theme: ✨ “An Overview of Children’s Communication and Language Development”
Building from essential foundations, the expert guided parents through core topics:
The role of communication and language in the holistic development of children aged 0–6.
Developmental milestones at each stage.
Common challenges children may face.
Identifying signs through practical video observations.
Orienting appropriate intervention content.
Special emphasis: The irreplaceable role of parents in their child's communication and language development journey.
💬 The atmosphere was quiet and reflective at first… But as stories were shared and concerns were voiced, connections began to form. The session became increasingly open, interactive, and heartfelt.
🌿 The first training session concluded not just with knowledge, but by opening a clearer perspective—helping parents move from simply "worrying for their child" to truly "understanding their child" with clear guidance.
